| 抄録別表記: | The present study was carried out through interviewing six school-children, who had been in a pediatric ward of a general hospital, their mothers, school teachers-in-charge, and school nurses. The purpose of interviewing was mainly to grasp children's life, at school as well as at home, after they were discharged from the hospital. The findings are as follows: 1. The fact of child's suffering from a chronic disease did not seem to produce profound affect on their scholastic achievement, but the affect on their physical exercises and the relationships with their schoolmates was promitent. 2. Proper attentions to the child resulted from maintaining frequent communication among the child's family, school teacher in charge, and school nurse. 3. The lack of smooth communication among the three parties was chiefly caused by: 1) absence of the school nurse's attitude to work upon other parties 2) parents' underestimation of school nurse's function 3) the child's disease itself. Concerning school nurses, their attitude seemed to reflect their personal interpretation of "individual management". |
