| 抄録別表記: | On developing the teaching of Nursing effectively, it is considered to be indispensable that students must come into contact with actual patients directly, and that they understand patients not as a static object but as a dynamic object, who are "human beings with some disorders".We made an experiment of a new method of teaching, "Practice in the inpatient-ward", to the students of our class of 1977, together with lectures in Medical & Surgical diseases in the class.In order to evaluate how the class learnings could be made use of in actual practice, our experiments were carried out as follows:The students actually attended the patients with disorders in the digestive system, out of whom only gastric disorder cases were selected. They were asked to fill out the form which we prepared. Then the results of 16-hours out of 20-hours practice were analysed.Examining the form filled out by these ten students, we have concluded that the primary aim of our experiment has been achieved so far as this form was concerned. At the same time, we have learned from the students' conference that they unanimously agreed on the significance of learning acquired from actual experience rather than from class lectures alone.There still remain several problems in this experiment as to the duration of practice, the object of learning, the form of items, etc., for which further study must be required. |
