抄録: 本研究の目的は看護領域における"継続教育" "専門職の継続教育"に関する文献を基に,『看護専門職 の継続教育』という概念について明らかにすることである。 分析の方法は,Rodgersのアプローチを参考にして,定義,特性,先行要件,帰結,関連概念について 探索した。 分析の結果,『看護専門職の継続教育』について次のことが明らかになった。特性は, 1) 目的や方向づ けが明示されていること(①ヘルスケアや社会への貢献,②看護専門職者としての発展), 2)専門職とし ての継続教育の特性(①看護専門職としての能力の改善と開発に自ら責任を持つこと,②個別化されたもの であること;個々の動機づけ,個人に方向づけられた学習,個々のニーズ,③生涯学習であること), 3) 実施の範囲・領域(①看護基礎教育または経験の上に積み上げられていく学習活動,②教育の範囲や領域の 多様性,③義務化された継続教育と自発的な継続教育)であった。先行要件は, 1)社会的,経済的,文化 的,政策的文脈(財政危機,科学技術の進歩,ヘルスケアシステムの改革,ヘルスケアコスト削減,人口統 計学的変化), 2)継続教育の機会(①財源に関すること,②利便性と有用性,③管理者からのサポート, ④組織の環境)であった。帰結は, 1)ヘルスケアの質の改善・質の向上, 2)看護専門職者としての成長 (①新しい知識の獲得,態度・行動の変化,②個人の内的な変化;自信や自尊心の高まり,自律性の高まり, ③専門職化すること), 3)信頼の獲得,役割と権限の拡大, 4)ネットワークの拡大, 5)キャリアの拡 大,であった。関連概念は,現任教育・院内教育,卒後教育,生涯教育,成人教育であった。 さらに・,分析結果から『看護専門職の継続教育』という概念の枠組みを提案した。
抄録別表記: The purpose of this study was to conceptualize continuing education in nursing profession based on the literature concerning "continuing nursing education" and "continuing professional education" . This review was guided by Rodger's approach. According to this method, attributes, antecedents, consequences and related concepts of the term continuing education in the nursing profession were extracted. Attributes: 1) showed a certain goals and direction (①To contribute to the health care and the public, ②Personal /professional growth and development), 2) Some dimensions [of] as a profession (①To have responsibility/ accountability for improving professional competence, ②Individualized learning (individual motivation, self-directed learning, individual needs), ③Lifelong learning, 3) Some domains of practice (①A series of learning activities on basic nursing education/experience, ②Diversityof domain of education, ③Mandatory continuing education or voluntary continuing education). Antecedents:1) Social, economic, cultural and political significant context (scientific and technological advances, rapid changes in therapeutic measures, fiscal crisis, changes in health care delivery systems, reduce health care costs), 2) Opportunity of continuing education (①funding problems, ②accessibility and availability, ③supportfrom manager, ④organizational working environment/organizational culture) Consequences : 1) Improved/raised quality of healthcare, 2) Growth and development as a nursing profession (① gained new knowledge, changed attitude and behavior, ②internal change; raised self-confidence, self-esteem, responsibility ③ professionalization ;better understanding of professional role, becoming more accountable), 3) Acquiring credentials, expanding [the] new role/authority, 4) expanding the network, 5) Improving [the better] career planning and expanding the career mobility. Related concepts: In-service education, post graduate education, lifelong education. Based on the review, a framework of the concept in terms of continuing education in nursing profession was proposed.
