| 抄録: | 看護学生が地域社会の人々とパートナーシップを形成し,地域における看護職の貢献について学ぶことは
看護教育において重要であり,このような学びの機会となるヘルス･ボランティア活動を促進するための学
習支援プログラムの開発が求められている｡
本研究は,実際に活動を行っている看護学生にその経験と,ボランティア活動を通して看護学生が必要で
あると認識する学習支援ニーズを記述し,ヘルス･ボランティア活動を促進するための学習支援のあり方を
検討することを目的としている｡研究協力者は,公募に応じたボランティア活動経験者14名であった｡研
究方法は,インタビューガイドを用いて面接を実施し,得た情報を逐語録にして内容分析を行った｡なお,
本研究の計画書は,聖路加看護大学研究倫理審査委員会で承認を得た｡
看護学生は,ボランティア活動に対する自己の関心を動機とし,さまざまな情報をきっかけとして活動に
参加し,活動を通して人々や地域への理解を深め,自らの職業への意欲を高め,活動に対する責任,ボラン
ティア活動のあり方を学んでいた｡このような活動に必要とされる知識･技術･態度については,社会性を
含めた対人関係能力,具体的活動で必要とされる対象理解,生活行動を中心とした援助技術,チームにおけ
るメンバーシップ能力をあげていた｡これらの内容について,自己学習,仲間やボランティアの受け手であ
る家族や組織から学んでいた｡以上の結果から,ボランティア活動を促進し､学びとするため方策として,
ヘルス･ボランティア活動へのアクセスを容易にする｢情報提供支援｣とボランティアの考え方や必要とさ
れる能力のオリエンテーションおよびボランティア活動の学びの意識化のための｢ヘルス･ボランティアガ
イドプログラム｣の2つの方策が考えられた｡ |
| 抄録別表記: | In nursing education, an important issue is for nursing students to learn how to establish partnerships with
people in the community and with community based nursing services, as well as develop a sense of civic
responsibility. Volunteer activities in health or medical fields provide learning opportunities, so as educators,
we need to develop learning supports to encourage students' health volunteer activities.
The purpose of this study was two-fold: ① to describe nursing students' experiences of volunteer activities
and their learning needs that supported their volunteer work and ② to discuss a schema for promoting health
volunteer activities. Fourteen nursing students who were working as volunteers gave their consent to
participate. They were interviewed using an interview guide with open-ended questions. The interviews were
audio taped and transcripts were analyzed using content analysis. The Institutional review Board of St. Luke's
College of Nursing granted approval of this study.
Results indicated that nursing students worked as volunteers motivated by their interests in health volunteer
activities taking advantage of information around them. They developed: an understanding of community
health needs, motivation to be nurses, and responsibilities to volunteers through their activities. They
identified competencies needed for health volunteer activities: interpersonal relationships including social
manner, understanding of clients, technical or professional skills, and membership. They learned these
competencies by themselves, through peer interaction, or from the clients/ families. We conclude that we need
two plans to facilitate nursing students' volunteer activities. First is an information support plan to easily
access volunteer activities. The second is a learning support plan including a health volunteer guide program,
incorporating orientations to volunteer activities and needed competencies, and reflections about volunteer
experiences. |
