| 抄録別表記: | Among the prerequisites for practice of comprehensive nursing care, necessity of continuing care is mentioned, and various problems in connection with its practice are a challenge to the nursing world. Today, when senility, chronic diseases and incurable diseases are major social problems, papers related to visiting nursing care for patients at home are attracting attention at scientific meeting of Public Health field. However, very few studies have been noticed of visiting nursing care from the standpoint of the institutional nurse. During the period of 1960～1961, sharing in the Welfare Ministry sponsored "Scienctific Studies on Health Needs and Public Health Nursing Avtivities", Miss Aya Maeda and Miss Kazuko Matsushita carried out "A Survey of Visiting Nursing Needs from the standpoint of Medical Care Personnel (clinical doctors and nurses)". Now after the lapse of fifteen years, we have tried to find out actually how many out of the patients leaving hospital will, the Head Nurse judges on the basis of comprehensive health care, need visiting nursing care, and compare it with the last survey. It has become clear that the number of patients who need visiting nursing care after leaving hospital shows a tendency to increase in the Adult Medical, Adult Surgical and Pediatric Departments. Utilizing the data we have obtained this time we intend to study further how continuing nursing care should be in the future. |
